A Fall Engagement Session at East Palisades Trail That Mixed Romance, Adventure & Plan

There are some locations that simply feel like an adventure every time we return, East Palisades is one of those places. Nestled along the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, its winding trails, towering bamboo forest, and riverside overlooks create the perfect mix of drama and intimacy. On a cool fall day, we met with Victoria and Lew for a session that blended fun, connection, and a whole lot of laughter.

We began the session along the forest trail, surrounded by soft golden light filtering through early fall leaves. As we crossed one the signature metal bridges, Lew quickly scooped Victoria up for a piggy-back ride, setting the tone for the rest of the adventure.

Those moments, genuine, unscripted, joyful, are what we love capturing. Their chemistry was effortless, and it showed in every frame.

As we made our way down to the riverbank, the scenery shifted to still water, smooth stones, and warm, earthy tones—a dream palette for fall engagement portraits.

Victoria and Lew settled into the river’s edge, wrapped up in a quiet moment while listening to the water flowing around them. The reflections from the river added a natural glow that made these portraits feel cinematic and intimate.

When a couple is down for adventure, we’re all in. So yes… the session ended with Victoria and Lew playing in the river.
