Do you need a permit to shoot engagement photos there? At the time of writing, casual photography for personal use typically does not require a permit. However, for commercial shoots or large setups, a permit may be needed. Always double-check with the park ahead of time. What’s the best time of year for an Arabia Mountain session? Spring and fall are ideal! Spring offers patches of wildflowers while fall brings cooler temperatures and golden tones that complement the rocky landscape beautifully. How should we prepare for our engagement session at Arabia Mountain? Wear comfortable shoes for walking on rocky terrain, bring water (especially in summer), and consider bringing a change of clothes if you want multiple looks.
A Quick Note on Safety at Arabia Mountain
While Arabia Mountain is absolutely breathtaking, it’s important to be mindful of your belongings while visiting. Unfortunately, during this session, our car was broken into while we were up exploring the mountain. To avoid any issues, we highly recommend not leaving any valuables inside your vehicle — even if they’re tucked away or hidden. It’s always better to bring essentials with you in a backpack or leave valuables safely at home. We want your engagement session to be filled with nothing but amazing memories, so a little extra caution goes a long way!
